DAY 23,Thursday, 23 May LA- VANCOUVER, CANADA DAY 1

Morning in LA and midday flight to Vancouver So this

This is our last day in the United States till we return to Las Vegas on 12 June. So last night we went out to dinner at the Garden Bistro at Coldwell with our very good friends, Julie and Philip, and our new friends, Brenda and Lyle.

Bon Voyage back to Australia for Julie and Philip. We had a ball.

Last night we had an excellent dinner in ambient surroundings with a pianist providing soothing background music. The only discordant note was one of our party ordered the special and found it to be the most expensive item on the menu. P (I use this pseudonym to maintain confidentiality) thought this was a tad overpriced for Osso Bucco.

Our trip was made extra special travelling with people we love and respect. Julie and Philip return to Queensland tonight.

Today we fly to Vancouver for two days or so before we start our next booked trip with Globus for 12 days around the Western Rockies.

So.....we really need a day of rest and catch up with our washing.

Our trip to LAX this morning was fast and furious with our driver going through three red lights. After a three hour flight we are now safe and sound in the beautiful city of Vancouver.
